Manhole Rehab Company Wins Patent Litigation

AP/M Permaform announced that a settlement has been reached on a suit filed in Federal District Court in Des Moines, Iowa against C-Mar Enterprises, Inc. for infringement in the use Monoform plastic forms with plastic lining material in violation of AP/M's U.S. patent 5,032,197.  Parties to the settlement include C-Mar Enterprises, Inc. a Virginia-base manhole rehabilitation company, Pacific Pipeline Survey, a northern California sewer service company and Ken Bowen of Monoform.

As part of the terms of settlement, the parties agreed to cease using forms with a plastic lining in violation of the patent.
